A little late perhaps but better than never. Besides, there is still plenty of February left to listen to this months Ffern podcast. My contribution for this segment of the year is a new live-ish version of my Shipping Song (from the album Hidden Seam Navigator/EarToTheGroundMusic 2017). February is known for its particularly rough storms at sea. Oh the sea.

Gerry and I have played several hugely enjoyable DUO gigs over the last few weeks (Hastings, London, Belper and Gainsborough - you were all gorgeous!) seeing you all has been a balm during this exceptionally wet and cold winter. We are looking forward to our next outing on 18 April at The Vale, Mossley. Gerry and I always love a trip to Manchester especially as its his old home town. Hope to see you there. Big news is that I’ve just seen four frogs in our tiny garden pond and they’ve laid a huge lump of frogspawn! This makes me very happy and provides a delightful distraction to this rotten cold and stomach bug I am recovering from. Daffs are coming up and days are getting longer. Spring is on its way. Take care, Lx
