I’m immeasurably excited to announce that I will be Folk Music Artist in Residence (2026) on monthly award winning podcast made by independent fragrance company, Ffern.
Broadcast on the 1st of each month 'As The Season Turns' hosted by author, Lia Leendertz, takes the listener through the seasons via tales, traditions, folklore and nature, month by month. As most of you will know, this is right up my alley!!!
I'll be making a special recording relating to each month, some of which will be new live(ish) recordings of old songs, but I am also using this as an opportunity (thanks Ffern!) to develop new work which I hope to use for my next solo album. I'm looking forward to perhaps some new collaborations and to exploring the year, through folk and traditional music, especially for this project. More news to follow in 2026.
For the very first broadcast this coming New Year's Day - 1st January 2026 - I have recorded a new original song called Holly King - My Solstice/New Year Song.
