Hart of The Wood 25 June

SADLY I WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND DUE TO COVID!!!!

I am delighted to announce my participation in this immersive, outdoor project & film. Yours truly features in one of the film installations, my voice is also to be heard on the accompanying recordings instigated by Nathaniel Mann celebrating all things woodland and seasonal, I have taught 3 songs to the Mere Singers, a community choir who will be performing throughout the event (11 - 3.30pm Comer Woods, Dudmaston) and I myself will also be performing during the day. Postponed from 2 years ago it will be great to finally see this magical project happen.

In association with the National Trust film maker, Ben Wigley, has created a multi-layered celebration: ‘Hart of the Wood' is a folkloric, visual journey through Comer Woods, part of Dudmaston's woodland. Through song, film and live performance, the artwork will explore the practices and traditions of woodland workers, as well as the presence of the mystical Green Man. Plus its free.
