Lisa records 'Fine Horseman' for Music & Migration compilation CD

I was asked by independant label SECOND LANGUAGE if I would like to contribute a track to a compiliation they put out called Music & Migration III.  In aid of the conservation charity, Birdlife International, I thought this definately a worthy cause.  This is the third and final instalment, previous contributors included Vashti Bunyan, Peter Broderick and English Folk singersongwriter Sharon Krauss.

I recorded a version of Lal Waterson's Fine Horseman.  Its a beautiful song which I've wanted to record for years. With its refrain of 'Fine flying sparrow, fine fine horseman' I thought it particularly fitting for this project.  The song to me contains a real darkness, majestic dreamlike imagery and I love singing it, it feels like dreaming to sing it.

The CD comes in beautifully designed card packaging which concertinas out as you open it!
